So I’m going through a “reading slump”. What is a reading slump you ask, well let me tell you all about.
If you have viewed my blog recently you will have noticed I have a bunch of books in my “currently reading” list on Goodreads and the truth is I am reading only one of of them (“Selfhood” by Terry Lynch) and I am also reading “Go Set a Watchman” by Harper Lee, I have been for a month.
It’s not that I don’t want to read it’s just that I hardly ever feel like it, every time I think about picking up a book, I think “Meh” and as a result have no books to write about. But at the same time I also miss reading. I have always read, my parents always encouraged reading and so I have been an avid reading from a very young age; it feels unnatural to me to not be reading.
I also miss writing, currently I have not got a lot of views but this being a new blog, I’m not worried. I am however grateful to anyone who does read my ramblings and even if nobody ever read my blog I would still be here typing away. I love to write as much as I love to read.
I suspect some of you, if not all can identify with me, it’s probably very normal and if you can and have found ways around it please comment below and let me know, I would love to know what you think.

Happy reading.
